hey guys! i can make lists too...here's my two cents...actually it's more like five or ten...

good records
pedro the lion - control
bionic - deliverance
the greenhornes - dual mono
mooney suzuki - electric sweat
hayden - live at convocation hall
brian jonestown massacre - bravery repitition and noise
sadies - stories often told
the sights - got what we want
jason lowenstein - at sixes and sevens

best discoveries
the sonics - here are the sonics
(the greatest punk rock album ever made...period)
the asteroid no. 4 - king richard's collectibles
(i think they're called the asteroids now)

sloan - pretty together
(released in 2001....i know, but i'm still kicking myself for assuming this would be a rock record)
the sonics - 1980 tapes
(after overcoming the excitement of finally finding a sonics album i realize this is a complete massacre of all their best hits done 20 years later by a lineup of the band that contains only one original member...who isn't even the singer. shit.)

...that's it. so, maybe it isn't really a list but more like steve's musical diarrhea...sue me. if i can turn one person onto one of these fine bands, then that's one less person listening to jenny on a block or whatever it's called.
